Thanks to Sean Dunleavy, Peadar Seoighe, Cathy Cullinane, Kieran Flaherty and Don O Riordan for successfully meeting and convincing people at the ARD Resource centre, Galway City Council and the Des Tomlinson of the FAI of the merits of having a vibrant healthy sports club in the area,
The work is now being carried out on the all weather cages with Lighting for winter training and practice.
Merlin Woods FC & Sports club have helped participation in the Community games.
Merlin Woods FC & Sports club have a new super dooper pitch liner that works lovely and the children are enjoying the street leagues in preparation for the pride of place festival in August.
